Who We Are

Breaking Barriers, Building Sustainable Futures Through STEM

The Empowered Girls in Science Initiative (EGISI) is an impact-driven, non-profit organization incorporated on March 20, 2025 (as per Corporate Affairs Commission Certified Extract), operating from Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria. We exist to protect rights, cultivate technical capability, and uplift vulnerable female demographics—specifically underprivileged secondary students, out-of-school girls, and teenage mothers.

By delivering structural academic resources, high-level mentorship, practical training, and certified micro-entrepreneurship programs, we empower marginalized young women to bypass systemic socioeconomic roadblocks and thrive as front-line innovators within technical engineering ecosystems.
